Am proud to say I know Mary personally. She is charming and talented individual. I am not at all surprised that she has taken on this challenge and that she is proving to be such a charismatic and inspirational figure in the mountaineering world!

Let's meet for tea soon, Mary!

Best wishes to you and Daisy from sunny, Southern California! That should give you a hint that even though we are in the same age bracket, I am in no way interested in climbing Mt. Everest. The best part of reading about your planned excursion is that you WANT to try. Go for it!

You and Daisy must take care of your health on the trip, Mary, so drink, drink, drink. Be sure to take lots of dehydrated water. Simply add water to reconstitute it and you will have a refreshing and healthful drink available at all times. (We're sure you have the ingenuity to work out little details like how to add the water.) So that lovely Daisy will not pollute the environment or leave unsightly yellow marks in the snow, we suggest you carry piddle pads for her "personal needs."

Daisy, we wish our human would take us on an exciting trip like yours, but instead she's just sitting around grinning at your website.
