Hi Mary,

This is Robert's mum, Agnes. The poor dear was a little too enthusiastic in his request for me to join your expedition. I will not be able to go with as I am currently participating in the astronaut training program for the first manned flight to Mars. I am sure you'll understand.

Much love,
Agnes.

Dear Mary,

Please do not leave your dogs droppings on the way up. Others might slip..
And by the way, when you get up there.. They serve a sturdy cup of tea at the coffeeshop on the far left corner of the summit. Lovely place. Give them my regards..

I can only hope this is an April 1st joke, because I've had enough funerals lately.

I think you are a brave person with what you are intending to do.
But I also think you are very unfair and only think about yourself when you want to take your dog with you. This breed of dog is not built for walking steep terrain. It's legs are short and its back is rather long, which makes climbing difficult. It is a breed to walk in the plains and woods where it can dig and find rabbitholes. Furthermore the poor creature hasn't asked for a trip that high which will obviously also cause it problems breathing.

hi there Mary

Fair play to you. Great plans ye have but... if I were you I would leave doggy in the UK. Why not lease a nice seal (we have loads of them in Pieterburen) and bring it with you to the top and you will definately have a great ride back to Katmandu.

Best wishes and a kiss

Hi Mary,

I'm a healthy young guy and i was wondering if i could join you on your trip to the top.
I'm just 97 years old and feeling very strong. Can I take my mother with me?

Al those people ar worried about your dog. I'm concerned about YOU: you should not go. Let the dog do it by herself.

Hi Mary,

I just had a look at the weatherforecast for Everest. It looks like April 1st is the perfect day to start
Good luck!
Ruud
