Dear Mary,
good luck & safe climbing to you and Daisy!
Please remember that there wont be any trees on Mt. Everest, so you have to provide your own tree for Daisy's basic needs...

Regards!

Hi Mary, I'm with a bunch of trekkers in Kathmandu. We'd love to meet you when you get here and help you get outfitted for the climb. Let us know where you will be staying and we'll contact you and show you the town!

Hello My name's John and I run a hotel on the summit of Everest. People will tell you there isn't one but that's just because we hid it behind a big rock.
You're welcome to stay when you get here, we even have a secret lift that goes right down to basecamp so if you're a bit tired after your stroll up you can just get in and be down in a jiffy.
My dream was once to swim in nuclear waste while three dolphins whistled 'God saved the Queen' and a pride of lions performed Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. People said it couldn't be done, but I went ahead anyway and I've still got all my limbs. And a few extra ones actually!
So follow your dream Mary and Daisy, I'll be clapping for you (suprisingly confusing with 5 arms).
Go Mary!!

Mary,
I believe the look in Daisys eyes suggest she is not really up for this climb. If you do go can you look out for my trecking pole which I think I left at ABC last year. Its long with a point on the end.
Good luck to you both.

Oh my goodness Mary, only 8 days to go! Are you and Daisy getting excited?? Please please update us as to how your last minute training and preparations are going! I hope you and Daisy have been doing your altitude training - ie sitting in your attic for an hour a day? It's very important!

Oh and I hope you've put some inspiring music onto your iPod for the climb? How about "Climb Every Mountain"; "I'm running up that Hill"; "Aint no Mountain high enough"?

And how about the Carpenters song to sing to your very special climbing partner Daisy when you reach the top:

"I'm on the top of the world
looking down on creation
And the only explanation I can find
Is the love that I've found
ever since you've been around
Your love put me on the top of the world"

Go Mary! Go Daisy! )
