Do you know anyone called Michael Craddock (two d's). He claimed to have pulled someone a bit older than him many many years ago who was quite fit?

Anyway, good luck with the trip. I think you are going to die, but what do I know. I think the dog looks strong though.

I am worried about your rate of ascent. If you are going to climb all the way from base camp to the top in one push, then I stongly advise some sort of acclimatisation hike, otherwise you (and your poor dog) run the risk of your lungs filling up and your brain popping out of your skull. A walk to the local newspaper shop (only if uphill) should do the trick. Stay safe! That mountain is a Big one.

Hi Mary,

I would wish you good luck but you won't need it. Everyone can calm down now. She won't even make it to base camp, provided she can even get out of the country. Take a few deep breaths people this has got to be a hoax. If not there are plenty of people who will have to opportunity stop this attempt before it even gets started.

Mary if this is for real. I love ya and I hope someone puts a stop to this before it gets started. On the flip side if its making you cash I suggest dragging it out by being "delayed" by a few good blizzards or maybe rolling your start date back a few weeks due to "technical problems" related to, oh I don't know, transportation.

Also in reference to a message below from Wanda Rutkiewicz:

Please remove this message located on page 3 as she has been deceased since May of 92. She died in a climbing accident on Kanchenjunga. The writer is suggesting you will die and see her in heaven. Again please remove this message as it is in very bad taste.

Take care,
Erik "hoping this is a hoax"

ALL THE BEST!!!!

Take your grandson, and a few helpers too alongwith your dog as you will have to carry a huge load in excess of 20 kgs.
