Hello again Mary,

Here's a site that might be useful for Daisy:
http://www.puccipetwear.com
I hope you don't think their styles are too garish. Perhaps they would sponsor Daisy to wear their products?

Good luck,

Keith.

Bacofoil or any other aluminum cooking sheet produce, available from your local supermarket will make an ideal alternative to clinfilm for wrapping up your sandwiches. And should you loose your pots and pans etc, you can simply bend and twist the foil wrapping into any cooking utensil you wish.

A personal favorite of mine, is wrapping up spuds and cooking them on a roaring fire, so dont forget to take with you, plenty of wood, some paper, and matches and you might as well take a bag of marshmellows for a snack while singing with any religeous cults you should bump into.

I wish I could persuade my partner to walk up Snowdon - she's only 64!

Mary, you've fired the imagination of my 82-year-old mother, and she'd very much like to join your expedition. She's been doing some serious training and we've worked out how to fit crampons to her Zimmer frame, so I do hope you'll let her come along. She bakes a jolly good fruit cake which will keep you going nicely.

Yoohoo Mary,

Your courage and spirit are much admired- just what this country needs. However, I suspect that you haven't thought about at least half of your expedition. Getting to the top is one thing, but don't forget that you will also have to get back down again. Your hero Captain Scott might have a thing to say about return journeys. Fortunately, there is plenty of snow on Everest and this makes it ideal for a sledge descent. There are suitable items available from Witney Cycle and Toy Centre, priced at £5.99. Good luck!

For God's sake somebody stop her. IT'S SUICIDE! Look at Michael Palin. He had trouble and he had a hat, thick coat and everything and all the stuff.
Remember when Han Solo got caught out in the cold in Empire Strikes Back? He had to cut open his dead Ton-Ton and climb in just to get a nice warm night's sleep. Well think Daisy instead of the Ton-Ton and you've got a pretty grim picture of how things can quickly turn rat sh*t up there. A picture of a freezing old woman with a disemboweled dog on one foot.

Mary,

You've got a big fan in Austria, too. At my website, www.trekkingforum.com we have just discussed about it and strongly suggest, that you really should wear gloves at your try. They are missing at the picture at you Expedition Plan page. You should know, that it can get quite cold up there.

Just let me know if you need a porter for Daisy's daily needs. I've got some spare time left!

Andreas

My dog, Lucky is full of admiration for Daisy. Lucky climbed her 1st Lakeland peak at 12 weeks of age & has been a commited mountaineer ever since. Most nights she dreams of climbing Everest - running, running, running & squeeking with delight!
Lucky said the following about Daisy:
Woof woof bark whine yap bark woof yap grrr yelp whine woof grrr ruff woof whimper whimper yelp grrr yap woof bark bark yelp
Oops, now she's really embarassed & begs that you don't let Daisy read this!
Best of luck to you both!
