I would recommend taking several little dogs, maybe about a hundred or so then they can pull you up the mountain husky-stylee. Think you should reconsider your route up...unless you desperately want to be home in time for afternoon tea. The alternative to a tricky ascent would of course be to simply install a mega-stairlift.
Kind Regards

I think people need to calm down and stop worrying about Daisy. She is obviously a small dog, and as such will be at a lower altitude (about 5ft lower)than Mary at any point in time. - Mary will therefore succumb to AMS much quicker than Daisy, allowing Daisy time to realise the problem, and get the hell off the mountain while she still can!!

Wow Mary - you are a superstar. I am not sure if this is a serious web site, but if it is,which I hope it is, please let me know which charity you are doing this for an I will sponsor you (I am serious here).

I do think that posts should be serious though, and I think Matt M is lying about his feats. I do not believe that it is possible to drive a bus to the moon, so I request that you remove this post. If however I am wrong and he did drive a bus there, then I apologize. You the girl! Ron

I now Michael Craddock personally and there is a picture of Mary and himself together at his bedside. Do you remember him Mary?

Michael is progressing well with his therapist and can see visitors on Saturdays.

Mary

It is people like you that put the Great into Great Britain. Do not listen to all those doubters out their they are only jealous, your idea seems perfectly sound to me, after all if you get tired you could always jump on Daisy's back for a lift, just remember to keep your feet up so they don't drag on the floor.

People said I was crazy when I wanted to drive my double decker bus to the moon but I did it and made it onto the front page of the Daily Sport. You go for it girl.

I would ignore Kev C's advice though, his girlfriend told me he has trouble climbing out of bed on morning.

P.S. Did you to have ginger hair when you were younger and be in an all girl pop group as I am sure I recognise you from your photo. If that was you then maybe you could wear your famous union jack dress on the summit for the photo.

Mary,

Best of British luck. Kevin C and I are climbing Kilimanjaro in July. You have inspired me to ditch the down jacket and take a yellow rain mac with me instead. Alot lighter and easier to pack along side my sarnies. Any chance you and Daisy can sponsor us? Perhaps send us something we can show when we get to the top of Kili?

Mary,

Best of luck. I hope you dont fall in a creavase and need to eat your dog to survive, although it would make a great book. Be sure to keep Daisy away from the Yeti, I dont think they would breed well.

If all goes bad, you can always use the dog as a hat to keep warm.
